Taking Advantage of Online Imagery with Autodesk Geospatial Solutions
Wednesday, November 14
11:00 – 12:00 PST
webcast details
Accessing, utilizing, and sharing earth imagery and other spatial data is easier than ever before. Accuracy is important with all data including imagery. From new neighborhood build-out to response to incidents, utilities are challenged with having accurate maps from which to work to improve the quality of the network asset data. Maps help to improve internal needs such as reporting, finance and decision analysis, and help to improve external needs such as restoring service to an area that has been affected by storms, natural disaster and other incidents. We'll discuss ways of accessing and working with locally stored imagery and web services such as web mapping services (WMS) and 3rd party web plug-ins.
